MORE THAN A VOTE

In 2020, in the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, Lebron James along with a collective of athletes launched More Than A Vote.

More Than A Vote was formed to focus on dispelling voter misinformation and motivate black and brown communities to vote as a part of the Election year. As Creative Director, I was able to work cross functionally with the Chief of Staff, Head of Communications, and the Social & Talent directors to elevate issues, and craft the right message for featured talent.We equipped athletes across leagues with campaign videos and assets to share on social, talking points for interviews and content to help them elevate their platform and motivate followers.

I led creative development of merchandise, social, and storytelling through engaging & creative content. We focused on issues that impact black and brown communities and created commercials, vlog series and art that motivated voters to re-share and repost to ultimately get them to the polls and vote.
